Important milestones

1997

Foundation of Arbitrade AG

Peter Muggli founded Arbitrade AG in April 1997. He successfully managed the company over 20 years, developed long-standing partnerships with clients and brokers as well as built an excellent reputation in the Swiss Capital and Money markets. As of June 2015 Peter decided to step back from the daily business but still supports the team in the background.

2019

Management handover of Arbitrade AG​

Per July 2019, Kristian Studer took over all of Arbitrade's operative activies and clients as well as those of its partner company MTC Treasury Consulting. Together with his team he sees to a smooth transition during the handover and dedicates his time to supporting all clients while taking charge of the daily business.

2020

Arbitrade Ltd. takes over MTC Treasury Consulting LLC

After a strategic assessment of both companies and their positioning in the 2nd half year 2019 the management team decided to merge the two companies in order to make use of the synergies. All operative business activities, as well as the client portfolio of MTC Treasury Consulting LLC. were taken over by Arbitrade Ltd. effective by 1st of May 2020. The team and management however remains the same and is looking forward to a continued collaboration with its clients.

Arbitrade Arbitree initiative Tree

Trading, naturally.

As a future oriented financial company we are fully committed to sustainable business practices. That is why we eliminated paper-based processes completely and work fully digital since 2020. Additionally as of beginning of 2021 we only draw electricity obtained from natural sources.

Today we go one step further – and start our initiative Arbitree.
For each trade you do with us, we plant a tree. With this commitment we take our social responsibility to the next level and minimize our ecological footprint even further. And with it, together with you and each trade we make a mark – a mark for the future of our natural environment and the next generation.

Our forests play a major role in the fight for climate change. Widely known is the fact, that each tree transforms harmful CO2 in valuable oxygen relieving our atmosphere sustainably. Additionally, the reforestation provides new habitats for all kinds of animals and plants. At the same time, the roots of those trees protect the ground from erosion and naturally balance out earth‘s water levels. So each tree is helping our local ecosystems become bigger, healthier and more resilient. As a result this improves our quality of life just as much as the life of animals, plants and our natural environment as a whole.
